If you are not addicted already you can easily create an online scrapbook of decorating ideas with Pinterest.
Pinterest describe themselves as a Virtual Pinboard. This makes it ideal for pinning your decorating ideas. Previously it was common to collect coloured magazine cuttings of room settings we liked and pin them to a pinboard or paste them in scrapbooks. Now that most of the fabulous room settings, collectibles, decor items and more are seen online we needed a virtual pinboard.

Colour experts, Pantone have selected Tangerine Tango: The 2012 Colour of the Year. To quote Pantones’ description it is “Sophisticated, dramatic and seductive, Tangerine Tango marries the vivaciousness and adrenalin rush of red with the friendliness and warmth of yellow, to form a high-visibility, magnetic hue that emanates heat and energy.”

It is a shade of orange that is already appearing in fashion and design this early in the year. We featured it on our Pinterest board “Creative Colours” the other week.
